WSOP 2011 Schedule

If you are a fan of online poker then you will be delighted to hear that the World Series of Poker 2011 schedule has just been released.    It has been revealed that the 42nd annual edition of the World Series of Poker will commence on the 31st of May and will run for the next 50 days before finishing on the 19th of July 2011.

The 2011 World Series of Poker is open to anyone over the age of 21.  It will also continue to be held at the Convention Centre of the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.  So many people look forward to this event every year and there have been so many success stories to day.

The main event for the 2011 World Series of Poker is scheduled to begin on the 7th of July 2011 and once again will feature four starting days right the way up until the 10th of July.  This is the final tournament of the World Series of Poker for 2011 and it concludes on the 19th of July with a final table of nine players.

There are some new changes being introduced for 2011 and one of these includes hard stop times for all the bracelet events.  All players will play a maximum of ten levels per day.  Once they have completed ten levels the remaining players will have their chips bagged and tagged and they will be able to return the next day to continue on in the tournament.  Regardless of how many players remain in a tournament hard stop times will be enforced after ten levels of play.

The complete schedule for the 42nd annual World Series of Poker along with all the individual tournaments, dates, times and buy in prices will be released in January so be sure to keep your eyes peeled if this is an event that you hope to take part in.  This is one of the most popular poker events worldwide and there will be details released in the very near future.  Most online poker websites will be holding satellite events where players can win seats into the main events and take part in the World Series of Poker 2011.
